| Joseph Mathew Anjilivelil I am hailing from Anjilivelil family at Thrikkodithanam, Changanassery. Now I have settled at Kottayam with my family near Kottayam Collectorate , (Collectorate P O, Kottayam-686002-Kerala). After my graduation, I went for higher Diploma in Co-Operation. I started my career in the co-operative department under state government. |

But soon I took leave to continue my studies in English literature. After post graduation, I was appointed as an Executive Officer in the ministry of Agriculture and Co-operation in Kaduna State, Nigeria. I also got opportunity to work as a lecturer in English in Kaduna Poly technique. After a period of 6 years in 1984 , I returned to Kerala to rejoin duty in the Co-Operative Department. After my retirement in 1992, I spent 3 years as examiner to conduct test for appointment of candidates in co-operative Institutions. In 1995, I was appointed as lecturer to handle English in Amalambika
College of Arts, a project of Vijayapuram Social Service Society under
Vijayapuram Diocese. In the next year1996, I was promoted and appointed
as Principal of the College and I still continue in the post. Poetry.com
and the International Library of Poetry has presented me Editors A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Hon`ble President of India, has expressed his appreceiation to my poem titled, “Lost a Glory in Flames” ( A Tribute to Kalpana Chawla). |
